The multimedia animation and design (mad) academy is the first such school in the Asia Pacific to receive accreditation from world-leading animation software house Discreet, making it part of a global network of training centres designed to train novices and professionals for the digital content creation industry. This accreditation gives all mad academy* course graduates a qualification that is recognised throughout the computer animation and digital production community in the USA, Europe, and Asia.

The mad academy* trains its students using Autodesk's own fundamental and advanced courses as well as some created by consultation with professional animators and production companies. Whether you are an advanced user and work in the industry or a beginner and want to learn the basics of Autodesk software the mad academy* has a class designed especially for you. Classes offered are short, intensive and are geared towards giving you the best training possible. Achieved by the purpose designed course structure which simulates the commercial reality of a private sector production studio. Students are immersed into a comprehensive, problem solving environment within which they are provided with the latest in imaging tools and access to some of the country's most commercially experienced trainers.

Class structure. Classes for all courses are broken up into instructional class times followed by lab times. Daytime classes include a scheduled lunch break from 12:30pm - 1:30pm and also include a short break mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

Lab times are the periods where you get a chance to apply what you are being taught, run through tutorials or practical exercises and also for you to work on projects. These times are supervised but there is not necessarily an instructor available to you. You are encouraged to problem solve yourself and experiment. You are able to bring questions etc. to the instructional sessions where an instructor is available to you.

Daytime classes are between 9am - 5pm
