This course has been created for those High School children who are complete novices in 3d but are looking for some real hands on experience in 3d, to help |
them make better and more informed decisions when considering a career within the 3d visualisation industry.
The course whilst a little challenging and reliant on some problem solving skills, is very rewarding with plenty of hands on experience. Students will get a realistic appreciation of what it takes to animate a 3d character namely the Mad Man Robot.
Students will spend time getting plenty of hands on experience using professional 3d software to create an animation of a flying Mad Man Robot.
The emphasis here is to give the high school students a real understanding and a taste of what a career as a professional 3d Artist \ Animator is really like. They will experience what it takes to use animation techniques to make their 3d character fly, similar techniques that are used to create 3d animations and visual effects for many of todays Computer Games, Films and TV broadcasts.
Students will come away from the course with a CD\DVD of their own characters to share with friends and family.
Pre-requisite for this course is completion of Modeling the Mad Man Robot as well as a familiarity with using a computer. We currently are a Microsoft Windows friendly training center.
Everything is supplied to the student however, we do recommend some sort of usb memory stick to allow the student to take work home during the course.
