This course has been created for those upper primary school children who are complete novices in 3d modeling and are looking to get a taste of what 3d is |
all about, giving them an appreciation of what it takes to create a 3d character, namely the Mad Man Robot..
Students will spend time getting plenty of hands on experience using professional 3d software to create different parts of the Mad Man Robot. Once they have built the head of the robot, they will then spend time applying various colors and textures to personalise it to their own creative tastes.
The emphasis here is more on having fun, creating in 3d and learning what 3d is all about. They will gain an understanding of what it takes to create 3d characters, that are used and seen in many of todays Computer Games, Films and TV broadcasts..
Students will come away from the course with a CD\DVD of their own characters to share with friends and family.
The only pre-requisite is a familiarity with using a computer. We currently are a Microsoft Windows friendly training center.
Everything is supplied to the student however, we do recommend some sort of usb memory stick to allow the student to take work home during the course.
