Combustion Fundamentals

This course is a part of our 3D Character Animators / Artist course

This course is for individuals new to combustion as well as for current combustion users wanting to upgrade or enhance their existing post production skills, or perhaps change over from other compositing and visual effects pack ages.

The course covers the major functional areas of the latest version of Combustion primarily, interface, workflow and an overview of all modules such as Paint, Discreet's Keyer and Color corrector, tracker and 2d particles.

Organised into a series of theory and hands on lab assignments, the course ensures that the student will receive 21 hours of well paced, intensive professional training.

Once you have completed this course, you will have a commercial level understanding of the latest version of Combustion. You will also gain an insight into professional post production disciplines that relate directly to the post-production Visual Effects and Compositing industry, whether it be for Film, Broadcast, TV, Web or Pre-Press.

This course does not just focus on the buttons, but does cover the processes that underlie them and the reasons they are used in production. This not only helps you understand the concepts, but also how to apply them to your own work.
